Game Control
- Benjamin Juang
- Ben is a software engineer at Threadflip.com, a online marketplace devoted to helping women sell new and pre-loved vintage and brand-name clothing from their closet. He graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from UIUC in 2008. Cursed with a fondness of new shiny things, he often considers himself a wannabe hacker (in the original sense of the word) with jack of all trades skillset (from basic sysadmin skills for a LAMP or RoR stack, to whipping up a puzzle contest site in a month or so in his spare time). Other side hobbies include consuming fantasy / science fiction, napping, and trying to teach his two cats new tricks. He has a twitter account at @benjuang and github account.
- David Tan
- David (also known as Dan) is a QA Ninja at SAVO Group. In between his daily nerf wars, he wanders the company floor and shatters the illusion of perfection for his developers. He wishes people would realize how important software testers are and awaits the day a tester receieves an award for finding a critical bug and pushing back a release date. In his spare time he is cross-training himself as a product designer and giving feedback on various project's user experience. Bounce an idea off him, he will be happy to give you feedback on the pros/cons of it from his opinion. He also writes apps for the Window Phone!!!
Assorted Credit
- Poster Artwork, slot machine: Sue Feng
- Sue is a web developer at Wolfram Research and a lover of art and design at Sue Feng Design. A lot of what she does revolves around creating, or admiring what others have created. When she's not creating, she is enjoying a walk around Japan House or skating.
- Story: Brian Wu
- Brian is a data analyst at Neustar, working on its data management platform for business intelligence. While pretending to be a normal human, he is actually an anime-and-sometimes-game consuming machine. In his free time (not doing work, watching anime, or playing games), he mind crafts the day he will finally get around to writing a novel-story and/or end his long hiatus from playing D&D and ARGs - then goes to cook a meal for 3 hours. You can sometimes find him posting on twitter @poenbwu, but he's mostly (still) chatting on his AIM account, bpoenw. (Also, Po En Brian is his real, full first name; it confuses all ze computers with excessive spaces).

A heartfelt thanks to everyone that helps run (/ manage / organize / herd) the student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery at the University of Illinois (ACM@UIUC). Without them, we wouldn't have the Reflections | Projections conference, and without the conference, there likely wouldn't be a PuzzleBang.
Last, but not least...
All of you! PuzzleBang would be meaningless without you lovely folks who come bash your heads against our puzzles. We love each and every one of you and want you to have fun, so please, let us know if you think you're not being challenged enough! (Or you're being challeneged too much!)
